Since the beginning of 2017, APA - Austria Presse Agentur has been providing a daily news overview in simple language from Monday to Friday. It is called TopEasy. TopEasy consists of four to six short news items on the most important topics of the day (from politics, economy, chronicle and culture to sports and society). In the creation of TopEasy the APA receives help from Capito in the form of advice, feedback and training. The Austrian Ministry of Social Affairs supports the project financially.
The goal of TopEasy: Every person has the possibility to read news in a language level that he or she understands well. This is the only way for everyone to participate in society.
