Declaration of accessibility

1. General

In accordance with EU Directive 2016-2102, we are issuing an accessibility statement for the website www.capito.eu. As we are not a public body, this declaration is made on a voluntary basis. Overall, we aim to comply with compliance level AAA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

We strive to make the website www.capito.eu and all services as accessible as possible for all people in terms of dignity, equality, comfort and independence. This topic is therefore firmly integrated into our work process and regular updates are made.

2. Accessible functions and content

The website can be operated using a keyboard, the font has been selected and developed in such a way that it is easy to read for people with visual impairments and people with learning difficulties, the texts are structured using HTML and – where necessary – written in easy-to-understand language according to the TÜV-certified capito method. Furthermore, many aspects of accessibility have been taken into account, which we continue to update and expand..

3. Font & colors

When selecting the website font, explicit attention was paid to accessibility and readability. The “Lexend” typography (font) used is considered barrier-free and has been specially developed for people with reading and visual difficulties and has been proven to significantly improve reading skills and reading speed. Contrast values have been actively taken into account in the choice of colors to ensure accessibility.

4. Non-accessible content

We are currently busy testing all the content on our website in connection with the redesign in terms of accessibility. It will still take some time to define the content that is not compatible with the accessibility regulations so that the website is as fully accessible as possible for all people.

5. Contact

If you have any difficulties with content on the website or any of the services or need help with any part of our website, please send us a message and describe the problem. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Email to: office@capito.eu
